We are excited to be running coding clubs at Vicente Canada Blanch School. We offer sessions Key Stage 2 students, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to confident coders.

Key Stage 2 Coding Club
This Cypher Coding Club is the next step for young coders ready to level up their skills through more advanced block-based programming. Moving beyond the basics, students will take on exciting challenges that deepen their understanding of key coding concepts like conditionals, variables, events, and more.
Using engaging platforms and creative projects, children will design more complex games, animations, and interactive experiences—enhancing both their logical thinking and creative expression. With each term, new skills are introduced to keep learners progressing, while still welcoming new members throughout the year.
Join us for a dynamic coding adventure where imagination meets innovation, and students grow into confident, independent coders ready to tackle the digital world!
Year 3 and 4 Coding Club
In this term's Cypher Coders Mega Coding Club, children will learn how to code using the CoSpaces platform, which allows students to get really creative in an interactive 3D environment. Students will be able to add in hundreds of different characters and build anything their imagination desires.
Alongside the creativity that CoSpaces allows, the students will be learning how to code each of the items in their games using CoBlocks (a language similar to that of Scratch).
Something that might be cool to try at home - and so you can see the impressive things your child has been up to - is to download the CoSpaces app to your phone and (if you have one) put it in a VR headset - as CoSpaces allows users to explore their coded worlds through Virtual Reality headsets!
