In this block-based coding club, children will be learning to code through the Scratch platform. Scratch promotes computational thinking and problem solving skills; creative teaching and learning and self-expression and collaboration. Children will be working through incrementally harder content each week with the guidance of our expert Cypher teachers. In this Mega Coding club, the children will combine their creativity with their new coding knowledge to create a series of very exciting games!

In this Cypher Coders Club we introduce students to text-based coding using the programming language, Python. Students will learn the basics of Python by using interactive coding platforms, which will allow kids to steadily build their confidence in the language.

Children will work through incrementally harder content through the term and with the guidance of our expert Cypher teachers they will finish the term with an understanding on the basic of Python, while also having built upon their computational thinking skills, such as loops, sequencing, syntax, problem solving and much more! This club is suitable for all abilities.
